Christie Media Uganda is a Catholic Charismatic Renewal media ministry and digital evangelization initiative dedicated to advancing the proclamation of the Gospel through modern media and communication platforms. Rooted in prayer, the Word of God, and fidelity to the Catholic Church, Christie Media uses digital media to connect people with Christ and make the spiritual life of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal accessible beyond the physical gathering.

We provide media training, professional digital media services, broadcast production, livestreaming, internet broadcasting, and other media solutions that help Catholic Charismatic Renewal communities and other charismatic realities communicate the Gospel with clarity, creativity, and technical excellence.

Our Story

Christie Media Uganda emerged from a journey of prayer, discernment, and a desire to use modern technology in service of the Church. The initiative was conceived by James Godwin Ofoi-Mungu during his discipleship formation with the Teaching Ministry of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Kampala Archdiocese. After a period of prayer and discernment, the need for a structured media ministry within the Renewal became increasingly clear.

A significant moment came during the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Uganda in July 2023 at the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine, Namugongo. The experience strengthened the vision of creating a media platform capable of documenting, broadcasting, and extending the spiritual experiences of the Renewal to people who could not physically attend. With encouragement and confirmation from Charismatic Renewal leaders, Christie Media Uganda was established as a tool for digital evangelization.
